I woke up afraid

This morning I woke up afraid
It was God who came to my aid
This morning I woke up sad
God touched me and made me glad

This morning I woke up in a bad mood
God's love has made me feel good
God picks me up when I am down
He chases away my frown

When you get up on the wrong side
Remember God's love is where you hide
When life puts you in a sad place
Happiness is found in God's face
